Access to Global Bibliometric Database Services (2026-2028)

This contract involves providing online access to a global bibliometric citation database, which serves as a vital resource for scientific research, development, and evaluation of science in Slovakia. It is also essential for the Slovak Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in assessing the quality of educational and research activities. The database is a multidisciplinary bibliographic and scientometric resource that offers a comprehensive view of published scientific works, facilitating access for the Slovak scientific community and research institutions. Key reasons for access include: keeping researchers informed about the latest findings, tracking current research trends across various fields, obtaining feedback on published results through citations, evaluating the quality of published works, scientific teams, and institutions using bibliometric indicators, monitoring publication data of Slovak authors for the Central Register of Publication Activity by the Ministry of Education, Science, Research, and Sport of the Slovak Republic, and tracking citation data of Slovak authors in foreign publications for accreditation purposes. The database must provide tools for sorting, refining, and quickly identifying results, focusing on outputs in science, technology, medicine, social sciences, humanities, and the arts.
