Clean Energy Skills Regional Action Plan Implementation Consultant

Enterprise Cheshire and Warrington (ECW) is seeking an individual consultant or small group of consultants to implement the Clean Energy Skills Regional Action Plan (CESRAP) until March 31st, 2027. This role requires appointing a Regional Lead (1-2 people) to work an agreed number of days per week. The CESRAP identifies critical gaps in clean energy skills provision across the North West region and sets out recommendations, intervention proposals, and a collaboration framework to meet growing demand for clean energy sector skills by 2030 and beyond. The consultant will work alongside the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) and the North West Net Zero Hub (NWNZH) to deliver practical, immediate interventions while supporting long-term regional collaboration and ensuring the plan adapts to evolving policy, investment, and labour market conditions. The position is funded by the North West Net Zero Hub and supports the Government's Clean Energy Jobs Plan.
