Procurement of Adult Hygiene and Toilet Aids

HUS is seeking bids for adult toilet and hygiene aids. The procurement includes the following categories: 1. Toilet aids 2. Shower chairs 3. Wheeled shower chairs 4. Other shower chairs 5. Shower trolleys. Products are detailed in Attachment 1 of the Request for Proposal (RFP). The procurement is divided into sections, with each section consisting of multiple items. Decisions will be made on a per-item basis. Bids can be submitted for one or more items. The goal of this procurement is to obtain a selection of high-quality and durable products that meet customer needs through competitive bidding. Additionally, it aims to ensure reliable delivery of products when needed. The procurement also includes related additional products such as spare parts and accessories, which are listed in Attachment 1 of the RFP. During the contract period, products belonging to the specified categories may also be procured as needed, even if they are not detailed in the product attachment (see draft contract). The contract period is 2 years, after which it will continue indefinitely. This is a joint procurement involving multiple procurement units, conducted as a procurement ring. The products requested in this RFP will be used by: HUS (including Raasepori, Espoo, and Keusote), South Karelia Welfare Area, Kymenlaakso Welfare Area, and Päijät-Häme Welfare Area. For more detailed information, see Attachment 2 of the draft contract. The estimated total value of the procurement (excluding VAT) is approximately 2.1 million euros over 4 years. This is an estimate, and the procurement unit is not committed to the stated amounts or the consumption figures indicated in the RFP. Final order quantities may be higher or lower than those stated.
