    Brief

    This contract involves the procurement of a comprehensive communication system for low Earth orbit (LEO) and medium Earth orbit (MEO) satellites using optical laser links. The system includes: a telescope optical tube, rapid response support, specialized optical devices, mirror protection, laser transmission and reception systems from satellites, a mounting base for the telescope, and necessary hardware and software (computer, storage, cabling, etc.) required for data acquisition programming, management, and archiving, as well as for remote management and operation of the entire system. This system will also be upgradeable for use in quantum telecommunications.
