Air Quality Monitoring Equipment Procurement

This contract involves the procurement of advanced technological equipment for monitoring atmospheric composition and climate-active pollutants. The equipment will be used in the operation of the Geosciences and Climate Change Observatory in Antikythera (PANGEA) and for monitoring air quality and urban resilience as part of the NOA-AEGIS infrastructure (Subproject 2). It includes instruments for determining concentrations of greenhouse gases, chemical composition, and physical-optical properties of aerosols and precursor gas compounds. The equipment will also facilitate the collection of atmospheric samples for laboratory analysis and monitor regulated pollutants using standard methods, including differential optical absorption that identifies specific chemically active gases. Additionally, it will utilize air quality monitoring sensor technology installed in innovative systems to provide integrated smart solutions for public information and support dense recording networks, emission inventory databases, and portable equipment measurements to assess individual exposure levels in the population. Finally, the procurement also includes equipment for recording noise levels as part of environmental pressure monitoring.
