    Brief

The contract involves the renovation of the student dormitory building No. 3 at the University of Warsaw, located at Kickiego 9, to meet current user needs, particularly for individuals with disabilities. The project includes a complete interior renovation, general repairs of all rooms, and the replacement or modernization of all building installations. Additionally, a comprehensive thermal modernization of the building is planned, which will involve modifying some windows and doors. The University is currently preparing an environmental inventory for the building, which will be submitted to the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection for approval regarding the protection of bird habitats on the building's facade. The contractor is expected to start thermal modernization work in February 2026 and must secure scaffolding to prevent birds from nesting in spring 2026. As compensation, the contractor will install birdhouses on a nearby building and relocate them after the facade work is completed. Detailed descriptions of the contract are provided in Attachments 2 and 5. The buyer anticipates the possibility of awarding similar contracts for related services or construction work, as outlined in the Public Procurement Law.
