Medical Equipment for Respiratory Support

The South Ostrobothnia Welfare Area is seeking bids for respiratory support devices. This procurement focuses on medical aids provided to patients as part of rehabilitation, in accordance with the tender documents, for the period from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2027. After the fixed term, the contract will continue indefinitely. The contract can be terminated with a six-month notice period after the fixed term. Additionally, the indefinite contract will be regularly tendered (approximately every 4-5 years) starting from the beginning of the original contract period. Supplies related to respiratory support devices, such as masks, will be tendered separately with their own request for proposals. The respiratory support devices covered by this tender will be centrally managed by the South Ostrobothnia Welfare Area's Assistive Technology Center for the entire region. The medical rehabilitation assistive device service targets individuals whose functional capacity has been impaired due to injury, illness, or developmental delays, making it difficult for them to perform daily activities independently.
