Roof Waterproofing and Insulation Works for the City and District Archive of Bad Hersfeld

The project involves roof waterproofing and insulation for three building sections and a 15m² roof terrace. The buildings vary in height, and scaffolding will be provided on-site. The work will be carried out in phases, with some interruptions. The scope includes approximately 400 m² of roof waterproofing consisting of: vapor barrier, PIR thermal insulation, and double-layer bitumen waterproofing. Additionally, around 370 m² of a retention roof will be constructed, which includes: protective layer for waterproofing, water storage boxes (height 80 mm), filter fleece, substrate layer with dry sowing, and maintenance for one year. There will also be around 190 m of gravel strips, a ballast-supported safety system, installation of a ballast-supported and on-site provided PV substructure, one RWA skylight, and approximately 145 m of parapet coverings, drainage systems, downpipes, and connections to the main drainage line.
