Roof Waterproofing and Insulation Works for the City and District Archive of Bad Hersfeld

The project involves waterproofing and insulating the roofs of three building sections and a 15m² roof terrace. The buildings vary in height, and scaffolding will be provided on-site. The work will be carried out in phases, with some interruptions. The scope includes approximately 400 m² of roof waterproofing, consisting of a vapor barrier, PIR thermal insulation, and a two-layer bitumen waterproofing system. Additionally, there is around 370 m² of retention roof work, which includes a protective layer for waterproofing, water storage boxes (height 80 mm), filter fleece, and a substrate layer with dry sowing. The project also includes one year of maintenance after completion, approximately 190 m of gravel strips, a ballast-supported safety system, installation of a ballast-supported and on-site provided PV substructure, one smoke and heat extraction dome, and around 145 m of parapet coverings, drainage systems, downpipes, and connections to the main sewer.
