Security Services for Initial Reception Facility in Munich

The Free State of Bavaria, represented by the Government of Upper Bavaria, operates the initial reception facility located at Garmischer Straße 2-12 in Munich. This facility serves as the first point of contact for individuals entering the asylum process in the Upper Bavaria region. It is responsible for the initial reception, registration, and redistribution of asylum seekers both within and outside the region. Typically, individuals stay at the facility for a few days to a few weeks. The facility consists of two parts: Part 1 includes the arrival and registration area with offices and some accommodation rooms, while Part 2 contains additional accommodation rooms and a cafeteria. The security services are divided into two lots: Lot 1 pertains to the security of the office complex, and Lot 2 relates to the security of the hotel complex. This facility is socially sensitive, requiring special protection for its premises and residents. The primary objectives of the Government are to ensure the protection of the life, health, and property of asylum seekers, staff, visitors, and other authorized individuals, as well as to maintain the security of the premises and orderly operation of the facility. To fulfill this security mandate, the Government of Upper Bavaria is contracting a security company to provide these services, including access control, with qualified personnel who can perform these tasks flexibly and reliably.
