Tampere City Mobile Application Development and Maintenance

This contract opportunity involves the ongoing development and maintenance of the Tampere City mobile application. The project includes the management, support systems, and integrations related to the mobile app. Key components of the work include a handover project, development of a geographic information platform, continued development and maintenance of the application, bug fixes, documentation, and project management meetings. The Tampere City mobile application serves residents, tourists, and businesses by providing easy access to information about services in Tampere. Current features include route guidance, public transport routes and schedules, a carbon footprint calculator, predictive analytics for crowd flows, a library card feature, an event calendar, travel tips, and a special offer pass for visitors. Additionally, the app offers services tailored for business users and includes approximately 40 integrations with various services, many of which update automatically through APIs. The application is continuously evolving, with new functionalities added based on user feedback and the needs of the client.
