Roof Repair Project at Borovets

This contract involves the repair of the existing roof at the Borovets Military Recreation Center, which includes a hotel section, a connecting corridor, a restaurant, and a kitchen. The specification is based on site inspections and technical assessments that revealed significant physical and functional wear of the roofing system. The roofs are gabled, except for the connecting corridor. The existing metal roofing is in poor condition, with corroded areas, compromised joints, and partially missing or loose fasteners. Additionally, damage has been identified in the drainage system and lightning protection installation. The flashings around skylights and chimneys are compromised, creating a risk of moisture penetration. Snow retention elements are heavily corroded and partially detached, significantly reducing their effectiveness and posing a risk of uncontrolled snow sliding. The goal of the planned construction and installation works is to completely replace the roofing, including the supply and installation of a new thermal insulation system, LT metal sheets with polyester protective coating, new flashings, and full restoration of the functionality of skylights, chimney sections, lightning protection system, and snow retention system. A complete description of the planned activities, which are the subject of this public procurement, is duly specified in the Technical Specification - Appendix No. 1 and the Quantitative Account - Appendix No. 1.1, which are an integral part of this documentation. Due to the specifics of the repair, the contracting authority requires a mandatory preliminary inspection of the site. The inspection can be conducted on any working day for the contracting authority, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, up to 5 days before the deadline for submitting offers for the contract.
