Bicycle Path Construction in Romania

This contract involves the design and execution of bicycle paths as part of the investment project "Cycling through the West - Cycle Route" under the national initiative to implement 3000 km of cycling routes. The contract includes the following key activities: 1. Services: - Preparation of technical documentation for construction authorization, including the technical execution project and execution details. This involves obtaining all necessary permits and authorizations, including the construction permit. - Technical assistance from the designer during the execution of the works. - Technical verification of the project. - Ensuring a safety and health coordinator during the project development and execution phases. 2. Execution of works: - Carrying out and completing the works according to the technical project based on the feasibility study. The total estimated value of the contract across seven lots is 189,848,957.95 lei, excluding VAT, which includes: - Estimated value of services: 3,656,841.70 lei, excluding VAT; - Estimated value of works: 186,192,116.25 lei, excluding VAT. Interested economic operators have the right to request clarifications or additional information regarding the award documentation, respecting the deadline set by the contracting authority, which is no later than 22 days before the deadline for submitting offers. Requests for clarifications submitted after this deadline will not be considered. According to articles 160-161 of Law 98/2016, the contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information on the 12th day before the deadline for submitting offers, provided they are submitted within the specified timeframe. The consolidated response to the requested clarifications will be published in SEAP as part of the participation announcement.
