    Brief

Liverpool City Council is seeking a qualified organization to provide a range of preventative mental health services. This initiative aims to transform our approach by focusing on strength-based reablement, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness, and achieving better outcomes for service users, while also reducing the demand on statutory services. The service will assist adults experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues, aiming to prevent, reduce, and delay the need for acute or crisis mental health services. Key features of the Mental Health Prevention Services include: • A Single Point of Referral / No Wrong Door approach. • Neighborhood-based services. • Scaled interventions that are effective, such as Peer Mentoring, which can adapt over the contract duration. • Increased volunteering, education, and training opportunities, along with pathways out of services. • A menu of interventions that provide autonomy, choice, and control to service users based on individual assessments. • Monitoring and evaluation of outcomes for continuous improvement. The lead provider will collaborate with delivery partners to create a streamlined, responsive, and equitable mental health prevention service, developing a comprehensive timetable or menu of interventions that includes a wide range of preventative services, strongly based on co-production with service users.
