Waste Collection and Recycling Services in Schleswig-Holstein

This contract opportunity involves the collection, transportation, and recycling of used paper, including the provision of containers for specified properties in Schleswig-Holstein. The contracting authority is responsible for managing properties in the state and ensuring proper waste disposal. The contract includes collection points for additional participants as listed in the annex. During the contract period, the contracting authority and participants are entitled to have paper collected, transported, and recycled from newly added properties under the contract terms. Existing properties may be removed from the contract due to closure or sale. The expected annual waste quantities are based on data from 2023 and 2024, but the contracting authority does not guarantee these amounts, and variations may occur. Maximum values for individual lots can be found in the documentation. A separate contract document will be created between the awarded bidder and the contracting authority, as outlined in the annex "Sample Framework Agreement." Each participant will enter into disposal contracts with the awarded bidder, which will include regulations on invoicing and proof of proper disposal, as detailed in the annex "Sample Disposal Contract." All collection, transportation, and recycling activities must comply with relevant regulations, including the Circular Economy Act and the European Waste Catalogue, as well as ecological and social considerations in route planning and vehicle selection.
