Bridge Reconstruction Project in Nymburk, Czech Republic

This contract involves the complete reconstruction of bridge number 503-004 over the Elbe River, located within the city limits of Nymburk in the Central Bohemia region. The project includes the restoration of the load-bearing structure, along with modifications to its static model. As the bridge is a protected technical monument, the restoration, including partial replacement of bridge equipment, will be conducted under the supervision of heritage conservation professionals from the National Heritage Institute. Detailed specifications of the construction scope are provided in the attached tender documentation. Before construction begins, the client will ensure geotechnical monitoring of the surrounding area and buildings, which will remain active until the building is approved and for several weeks after its completion. The contractor will relocate most of the engineering networks from the bridge to an underground collector. The construction of the collector under the Elbe River is part of the project. The repair of road II/503 is proposed only to the extent necessary for a smooth connection to the existing state. The project also includes the construction of a pedestrian footbridge, number NB05, as part of the co-sponsor's contribution - the city of Nymburk.
