Framework Agreement for Interpretation Services in Denmark

The Joint Procurement of Zealand (FUS) invites interested suppliers to apply for pre-qualification to bid on the "Framework Agreement for the Provision of Interpretation Services." FUS is a procurement partnership consisting of 16 municipalities that collaborate to conduct joint procurements and create common purchasing frameworks. The FUS partnership represents approximately 761,000 citizens. The procurement process will be conducted as a negotiated procedure according to Section 61, Subsection 1, Letter c of the Public Procurement Act, as the contracting authority has determined that the conditions for using the "negotiated procedure" are met. The task being tendered is a framework agreement for the provision of interpretation services to units and institutions in the 16 municipalities that are members of the Joint Procurement of Zealand (FUS). The purpose of the procurement is to enter into a framework agreement with two suppliers who can ensure the delivery of professional interpretation services, where the interpreters are available at the agreed time, exhibit professional behavior, and are competent to interpret between the interpreted language and Danish. The contracting authority particularly needs interpretation services for conversations in the following areas: • Employment • Integration • Education • Social and health sector • Children and youth sector • Family sector • Daycare and schools • Citizen services • Weddings The contracting authority must be able to order interpretation conducted as: • Telephone interpretation • Video interpretation • On-site interpretation • Written translation of minor tasks • Phone messages and SMS. The contracting authority is offering a framework agreement that may require adjustments due to the nature of the service and the complexity of the interaction that must be achieved between the contracting authority, consisting of 16 municipalities, and two suppliers in a cascading model to ensure that services can be delivered and received effectively.
