Ultrasound System Supply for Robotic-Assisted Surgery

This procurement contract is for the selection of a contractor to supply, install, and commission an ultrasound system specifically designed for robotic-assisted liver and pancreatic surgery. The contractor will also provide training for up to 5 staff members on how to operate the system. Additionally, the contract includes warranty service for the supplied equipment and the provision of necessary parts and materials during the warranty period. The minimum technical specifications and equipment requirements are detailed in the Technical Specification (Appendix No. 1). The ultrasound system will be utilized in a research study focused on intraoperative procedures using robotic assistance under ultrasound control in abdominal surgery and urology. The research branches will include 'General Surgery' and 'Urology,' with an estimated total of around 200 patients per year. The study aims to analyze the identification of liver metastases using intraoperative robot-assisted ultrasound compared to conventional imaging studies, evaluate robot-assisted liver surgery with ultrasound control, assess robot-assisted partial nephrectomy with ultrasound control, and explore the potential for additional scientific research.
