Tree Planting in Satnica Đakovačka

The municipality of Satnica Đakovačka is seeking suppliers for the procurement of tree saplings according to specific requirements. The contract includes the delivery of saplings to the planting site and a minimum one-year guarantee on the planted trees from the date of planting. The saplings must have a balled root system or be planted in rigid wall containers. They should meet specified trunk circumference measurements at one meter height, have a straight trunk, and a symmetrical crown appropriate for the species. The crown size must correspond to the required trunk circumference. There should be no signs of damage, disease, or pests on the trunk and crown. Multi-stem saplings must have three or more main shoots up to 50 cm from the ground. Branching is allowed from one meter height, and the crown must be symmetrical and appropriate for the species. The trunk and branches should not show any signs of physiological damage that could affect the plant's appearance or growth. Grafted and budded plants should have only slight curvature at the grafting point, which must be well healed. The root ball must be well interwoven with fine absorbing roots without large cuts to the stabilizing roots. For balled saplings, the root ball must be homogeneous and firm, wrapped in biodegradable fabric that decomposes within 18 months after planting, and secured with wire. Saplings in rigid wall containers must have well-interwoven absorbing roots, and the roots must not have grown through the bottom of the container or be spirally formed around the container walls. Each sapling must be labeled with the species name, and all saplings must have a phytosanitary certificate.
