Winter Gritting and Snow Clearance Services Framework

NHS Lanarkshire operates approximately 60 sites across Lanarkshire, ranging from large acute hospitals to small rural GP practices. To maintain safe access and ensure service continuity during adverse weather conditions, NHS Lanarkshire is seeking external contractors to provide winter gritting and snow clearance services. The framework is divided into four lots to ensure appropriate geographical and service coverage across the estate. These services are required as backup support when in-house teams are unable to manage winter conditions alone. Services typically operate seasonally from October through April each year. Successful contractors will be responsible for maintaining safe access routes and site accessibility at assigned locations during winter weather events, helping NHS Lanarkshire maintain critical healthcare service delivery.
