    Brief

This contract involves the supply, installation, and commissioning of medical equipment for the Orthopedic Operating Room. It includes eight lots: Lot 1 - 2 Arthroscopy Towers; Lot 2 - 50 Arthroscopy Forceps; Lot 3 - 2 Surgical Motors; Lot 4 - 4 Tourniquet Systems; Lot 5 - 1 Surgical Table; Lot 6 - 4 Surgical Aspirators with 2 collection jars (3L capacity); Lot 7 - 1 Surgical Light; Lot 8 - 1 Biplanar Radiology Device. Delivery and commissioning will be carried out by authorized personnel, and these operations are included in the price. A declaration confirming this will be attached. The installation and commissioning of the medical equipment involve several stages, including site preparation, documentation verification, actual installation, testing, and staff training. This is a complex process that must be performed by competent technical personnel. The minimum mandatory steps include: 1. Site Preparation: Ensure the installation site is properly prepared, including finishing preparatory work and checking electrical, sanitary, and other necessary utilities. 2. Documentation Verification: Competent technical personnel must verify the equipment documentation, including the user manual and technical specifications, to ensure all installation requirements are met. 3. Actual Installation: The equipment is installed according to the documentation specifications, which may involve assembling components, connecting to utility networks, and securing the equipment in place. 4. Testing and Commissioning: After installation, the equipment is tested to verify correct functionality, ensuring operational parameters are within specified limits. If everything works correctly, the equipment is commissioned. 5. Staff Training: Medical staff must be trained on the correct and safe use of the equipment, including practical demonstrations and safety procedures. Training will take place at the beneficiary's location and is included in the price. A declaration confirming this will be attached. 6. Maintenance and Service: Regular maintenance according to the manufacturer's instructions is essential after commissioning. A service must be available for any malfunctions or repairs. Proper preventive maintenance, timely resolution of issues, and ensuring the availability of consumables and spare parts are crucial for the durability of medical devices. 7. Notification to ANMDMR: Certain activities related to the marketing, repair, maintenance, and commissioning/installation of medical devices require notification to the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices of Romania (ANMDMR). Additional operations related to the supply of equipment include: • Delivery and commissioning of equipment by authorized personnel, included in the offered price; a declaration of compliance will be attached; • Training of operating and medical staff at the beneficiary's location as an integral part of the equipment delivery, including not only safe and correct use but also sustainable practices.
