Reconstruction of Railway Section in Czech Republic

This contract involves the reconstruction of a railway section between Žďár nad Sázavou and Sázava u Žďáru, covering a distance of 5.8 km on the Brno – Havlíčkův Brod line. The project aims to enhance the railway infrastructure, allowing for increased train speeds up to 130 km/h, improved safety, and a better travel experience. Key components of the work include the renovation of 6 railway bridges, 4 retaining walls, 1 support wall, and 1 road bridge, as well as the reconstruction of 8 culverts and 1 road culvert. The platforms at the Hamry nad Sázavou railway stop will be shortened to 140 meters to accommodate passenger train lengths, with new access walkways ensuring barrier-free access. The railway section will be equipped with electronic safety systems of category 3. Additionally, the contract includes provisions for cooperation related to the project or its components during the contract period, particularly concerning safety devices and operational applications linked to these devices, to facilitate future needs of the contracting authority.
