Construction of Interior Carpentry for New Rupert Egenberger School in Gaukönigshofen

The project involves the construction of a new building for the Rupert Egenberger School located at Schulstr. 7 in Gaukönigshofen, situated at the southern edge of the village. The site slopes downwards from south to north by nearly one floor level. The new building will be three stories high, with outdoor areas divided into two levels corresponding to the adjacent ground and upper floors. It will be constructed using a hybrid wood construction method, featuring point-supported ceiling panels resting on reinforced concrete columns and stiffening solid walls, as well as stairwell cores. The dimensions of the special needs school are 45.855 m by 24.78 m, with each floor height measuring 3.60 m. The building envelope will be made of prefabricated wooden panel elements. This specification outlines the necessary carpentry work for interior doors and wall cladding. The corridor and stairwell doors will be made of solid wood frames, fully glazed, and partially with fixed side panels. The doors to classrooms and ancillary rooms will be fitted with steel frame surrounds. Additionally, all corridor-side metal stud walls will be covered with HPL panels.
