Transportation Services for Deceased in Kymenlaakso

This contract involves the transportation of deceased individuals within the Kymenlaakso welfare area. The estimated number of transports required annually is approximately 1,300, with around 200 of these needing to occur during nighttime hours (22:00 - 07:00). The service includes: • Areas 1 and 2: transportation of deceased from the place of death (residential facility or private home) to the place of storage, and transportation between storage facilities. • Area 3: transportation for medical autopsies to Meilahti, Helsinki, and back. The attached service description outlines the minimum requirements that must be met throughout the contract period unless otherwise agreed. The contracting entity is HUS, which is conducting the procurement based on an inter-organizational cooperation agreement.
