Evaluation Consultancy for Walsall Community Heritage Fund

Walsall Council is looking for a qualified provider to conduct an evaluation of the 'Our Heritage: Walsall Community Heritage Fund' program, which runs from April 1, 2025, to September 30, 2028. This program, supported by a £249,840 grant from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, aims to enhance crowdfunding and engagement initiatives for heritage organizations. The goal is to help 15-20 groups across four cohorts access funding, build partnerships, and strengthen their networks, ultimately promoting Walsall's underrepresented heritage. Additionally, there will be 12 participatory grant-making opportunities to empower community voices in decision-making. The program also includes updating the Heritage Action Plan to guide future discussions and identify sector needs over the next five years and beyond. The vision is to ensure better management of heritage in Walsall, integrating it into the town's overall development and meeting the needs of its diverse population.
