Netherlands – Database Services – SAP Management Platform

The contracting authority has initiated this European tender due to the expiration of the current agreement for the SAP systems on May 1, 2027, which cannot be extended. The SAP systems of the Tax Authority (hereinafter referred to as the Client) utilize infrastructure known as the SAP Managed Platform. This managed service (also referred to as the Solution) requires a successor to the current solution. The sizing of the solution is detailed in the table below, which includes the sizing data (Memory and SAPS) for the future SAP landscape. Both the databases and the SAP application layer will be migrated to this infrastructure. The total required disk capacity is 120 TB for the Twin Datacenter (or two Datacenters in Apeldoorn or two Datacenters in Groningen), to be evenly distributed across the Twin Datacenter, meaning either Apeldoorn or Groningen. The Twin Datacenter is located at two geographically separated sites that must be set up as identical environments; thus, each datacenter must have 60 TB of disk space available. All resources are required from day one. Additionally, approximately 130 Virtual Machines (VMs) need to be migrated (see Appendix V SAP Landscape and Appendix VI Migration). These are expected to remain relatively stable throughout the contract period, with an anticipated range of 100 to 130 VMs. More detailed information can be found in Section 2.4.2 of the descriptive document.
