Brief
The public broadcasting institutions require a robust and functional IT infrastructure to fulfill their duties. This includes laptops used in various areas such as office communication, audio and video production, and other tasks. A tender was previously conducted in 2021, and as the existing framework agreement has reached its maximum duration, a new tender for the procurement of laptops is being initiated. Additionally, existing laptops will be replaced with new, state-of-the-art models. Under the leadership of Südwestrundfunk (SWR), this EU-wide procurement procedure aims to establish a framework agreement with a contractor for the supply and maintenance of laptops. Other public broadcasting institutions and their subsidiaries, as specified in Chapter 3.5 of the procedural and contractual documents, will also participate in this framework agreement. The contractual terms will apply equally to all participants. The main services being tendered include: - Establishing a framework agreement for the supply of commercially available business laptops in various device classes, along with associated maintenance and warranty services, - A joint coordination meeting with the client on-site. Optional services include: - Additional configurations of laptops (increased RAM, increased SSD capacity, delivery with WWAN controller, delivery with docking station, delivery with English keyboard layout, delivery without operating system, delivery without graphics processor for workstations, delivery with WQUXGA display resolution for workstations, etc.) - Warranty extension to 48 and 60 months. Important considerations for this project include: - Technical specifications of the laptops - Continuity and quality in the execution of warranty services - Logistical performance. Only new devices (no refurbished devices) are permitted. Specific acceptance quantities are outlined in Chapter 5.3 "Acceptance Quantities." The underlying timeline is detailed in Chapter 2.2. The optional additional services listed in the "Annex 12 – Performance and Price Sheets in Excel Format" can be requested by the client/participants during the contract term. The contractor has no entitlement to the acceptance of optional services. The framework agreement is intended for a basic term of 24 months with two extension options of 12 months each (maximum duration of 48 months). The extension options will be exercised by the client as needed and will also apply to all participants in this framework agreement.
