Primary Care Local Training Hubs

This opportunity invites applications to establish Multi-Neighbourhood Training Hubs that serve as centralised, local centres for education, training, and workforce development in general practice and primary care. These hubs will partner with primary and community care providers, educational institutions, and local stakeholders to identify workforce needs, coordinate learning and development programmes, and provide quality placements and supervised learning environments. Key responsibilities include growing the supervisor and educator workforce, supporting professional development and staff retention, and facilitating the integration of new and emerging roles within primary care teams. The hubs will strengthen neighbourhood teams by building multidisciplinary collaboration skills and shared working practices, enabling more integrated and proactive community-based care.
