    Brief

ORE Catapult is seeking architect services to conduct a structured feasibility study for the Advanced Marine Technology Hub (AMTecH), a Plymouth-based facility designed to support UK marine autonomy and offshore wind innovation. The hub will feature quayside launch and recovery spaces, workshops, classrooms, manufacturing facilities, and collaboration areas to develop and test autonomous platforms, sensors, and robotics for offshore asset inspection and subsea surveillance. The project scope includes assessing the viability of preferred sites to be selected by AMTecH partners in late 2026, providing expert advice on site development challenges, and delivering budgetary estimates for development costs, planning costs, and licensing fees to support an investment proposal due by mid-2027. Architects with previous experience in waterside development in Plymouth and industrial facility design are particularly encouraged to apply. A meet-the-buyer event will be held on Friday 26th June 2026 at 10:00 hours at Fugro, Turnchapel Wharf, Barton Road, Plymouth (attendance requires submission of a form by 19th June 2026 at 15:00 hours).
