Engineering Supervision and Inspection Services for Astro Pitch Project at Ballina Stephenites GAA

Ballina Stephenites GAA is seeking qualified engineering consultants or construction professionals to supervise, inspect, and certify the completion of a synthetic astro pitch development at James Stephens Park in Ballina, County Mayo. The scope of work includes overseeing construction of perimeter fencing and ball-retention netting, access gates, kerbing, footpaths, hard surfacing, floodlighting foundations and installations, a hurling skills wall, drainage systems, and associated groundworks. The successful consultant will review construction documentation, attend pre-start and progress meetings, conduct inspections at critical construction stages, monitor workmanship and specification compliance, document defects, review testing documentation, perform snagging inspections, and provide final professional certification. This is a site-intensive role requiring prompt on-site attendance throughout the construction period, including emergency availability for time-sensitive inspections before work is covered or construction advances.
