This service will support family members, friends, colleagues, witnesses, and professionals impacted by suicide loss with trauma-informed emotional and practical assistance. The provider will deliver flexible, accessible support through multiple channels including face-to-face meetings, telephone consultations, and virtual sessions, working in partnership with health, community, and voluntary sector organisations. The contract will run for an initial three-year period from 1 April 2027, with options to extend for up to two additional years. Kent County Council is currently engaging with the market to co-design an innovative, high-quality service that meets the needs of bereaved residents. Interested organisations are encouraged to participate in shaping the service specification and demonstrating their capacity to deliver compassionate, evidence-based support.
