Research into Charity Impact Reporting Practices

This research opportunity seeks an independent researcher or research organization to examine how charities are implementing impact reporting under updated SORP (Statement of Recommended Practice) requirements. The project will identify current reporting practices across the charity sector, document key challenges charities face, assess support needs, and recommend improvements. Findings will help charities improve their impact reporting quality, support trustees in meeting compliance requirements, and enable the Charity Commission to better present charity impact information through its public register and digital services. The successful supplier will conduct comprehensive evidence gathering, analysis, and produce actionable recommendations for the sector.
