Strategic Urban Development Consulting Services in Aarhus

Aarhus Municipality is seeking suppliers for a framework agreement to provide strategic consulting services related to urban development planning and the execution of tenders for urban development areas and municipal properties. This opportunity is part of a total of three framework agreements for the same services, with an expected total value of 8,000,000 DKK (excluding VAT) over a four-year period, and a maximum value of 11,000,000 DKK (excluding VAT) for the same period. The agreements are non-exclusive, and there is no guaranteed minimum revenue for the consultant. The framework agreement will automatically expire three years after signing, but Aarhus Municipality may extend it for up to one year with written notice at least one month before the expiration of the three-year term. The consulting services may include: • Strategic analyses and mapping of planning constraints for specific areas • Conducting processes involving stakeholders, including citizens • Developing visions and strategies for urban life, public spaces, buildings, and sustainability • Creating development plans for larger urban development projects, including physical, strategic, and mobility planning • Conducting studies that identify development opportunities for areas, including architecture, planning, and the assessment of spaces and recreational areas to ensure project feasibility • Performing robustness analyses for buildings and assessing areas and recreational spaces to ensure project feasibility • Translating development plans/feasibility studies into specific requirements for architecture and quality in relation to the preparation of sales prospectuses • Assisting in bid evaluations related to land sales • Managing interfaces between sales and construction preparation for project realization.
