Construction Work – Reconstruction of Kbely Wastewater Treatment Plant

This public procurement contract involves the reconstruction and modernization of the existing Kbely wastewater treatment plant, owned by the City of Prague. The project is managed by the contracting authority and operated by Pražské vodovody a kanalizace, a.s. The work must comply with the building permit issued by the City of Prague on May 2, 2022, and other relevant administrative decisions and documents. The project is divided into two phases to ensure the continuous operation of the plant. The first phase includes the construction of two new biological treatment lines, a deodorization facility, and the roofing of odor-producing structures. The second phase will add a third biological treatment line. The capacity of the plant will increase from 9,674 equivalent inhabitants (EO) to 18,667 EO in the first phase and 28,000 EO in the second phase. Detailed specifications and conditions for the contract are included in the tender documentation and its appendices. The selected contractor will not be responsible for engineering activities related to obtaining building permits or ensuring trial operation after project completion. The contract will conclude with the handover of the completed project to the contracting authority.
