Supply of Equipment and Engineering for a DC Microgrid in Spain

This contract involves the comprehensive supply of equipment and materials, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning of a direct current (DC) microgrid. The microgrid will connect various systems for green hydrogen production and energy storage at the Cubillos del Sil Technology Development Center. This project is part of the PRTR and is funded by the European Union's Next Generation EU initiative. The main components include a photovoltaic plant, sodium-sulfur energy storage batteries, vanadium redox flow batteries, and reversible rSOC and PEM electrolyzers. The systems primarily operate on direct current, necessitating the installation of equipment to convert to alternating current for connection to existing electrical grid infrastructure. The goal is to enhance efficiency and reduce losses by directly powering these installations with direct current. Suppliers are invited to provide the necessary equipment, engineering, assembly, and commissioning services for this DC microgrid.
