    The French and European community is actively involved in the management and procurement of profilers as part of the Biogeochemical-Argo (BGC-Argo) program. In this context, the following institutions have formed a purchasing group to acquire bio-optical sensors to equip BGC-Argo profilers: - CNRS - Sorbonne University - Ifremer - ERIC Euro-Argo. These partners collectively manage the procurement and operation of approximately one-quarter of the BGC profilers in the Argo program.
