Open-Source Semiconductor Security Platform Development

This funding opportunity supports the development of an open-source hardware security research platform designed to strengthen the UK's capability in secure hardware design, testing, and assurance. One-year projects will generate research outputs and findings that will inform the initial architecture design of the platform ahead of the first silicon manufacturing run (tape-out). This initiative aims to advance the UK's semiconductor security expertise and establish foundational research for future hardware security capabilities.
