Modernization of Tram Tracks in Bratislava

This contract involves the modernization of the existing tram line located within the city of Bratislava, specifically in the districts of Bratislava I, II, and III, primarily in the urban areas of Bratislava-Staré Mesto and Bratislava-Ružinov, with some reconstruction of power supply and return lines in Bratislava-Nové Mesto. The tram line runs through Špitálska, Krížna, Trnavská cesta, Miletičova, Záhradnícka, and Ružinovská streets, ending at the intersection with Čmelíková street. The project includes the construction of a new substation at Astronomická and the modernization of two substations at Legionárska and Ružová dolina. The construction begins at the intersection of Špitálska and Ul. 29. augusta, where the new line connects to the existing track, and ends at the intersection of Ružinovská and Čmelíkova streets. The construction area is defined by the width of the street space or tram body, primarily bordered by curbs. The site includes the tram body, adjacent road areas, reconstructed intersections, pedestrian areas, sidewalks, and green spaces. The buyer intends to execute the project based on a contract with the contractor, which will adhere to the contractual conditions for technological equipment and design – implementation, for electrical and mechanical works, and for construction and engineering works designed by the contractor (FIDIC Yellow Book, first edition 1999, published by the International Federation of Consulting Engineers, Slovak translation, SACE 2008).
