    Brief

This contract opportunity involves the procurement of various software packages and information systems to support the 4 ALFRED project. The main goal is to implement experimental infrastructure and conduct research and development activities focused on large-scale experiments related to the nuclear safety aspects of lead-cooled fast reactors (LFR). The requested software will be used for measurement, automation, and control of instrumentation in facilities, enabling continuous and discrete simulations or a combination of both. This will allow for real-time or accelerated modeling of complex dynamic systems, optimization, and management of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as identifying and resolving issues in existing automation systems within the 4 ALFRED project. Additionally, other software is needed for modeling, simulation, and analysis of thermal-hydraulic, mechanical, or neutron phenomena in facilities, such as investigating thermal-hydraulic phenomena and mechanical behavior of components in the HELENA-2 facility, simulating operational conditions of the ALFRED reactor in the ELF facility, and studying the interaction between nuclear fuel and molten lead in the Meltin'POT facility. These activities are part of the defined research tasks within the 4 ALFRED project.
