New School Building Project in Mügelsberg

The Regionalverband Saarbrücken is seeking architectural services for the construction of a new school building in Stb-hybrid construction. The project involves a four-story building with a flat roof, where the basement partially emerges from the ground on the southern side and rises towards the north. Detailed specifications can be found in the attached plans. The basement will be built on a concrete slab, with solid reinforced concrete cores at both ends of the building, housing stairwells, restrooms, and technical areas. The classrooms will be located between these cores, designed to be flexible for use as traditional classrooms or clusters with mobile partitions. A total of thirteen new classrooms will be created. The building must meet climate-friendly standards as a non-residential building according to KFW No. 498/499, achieving Efficiency Building 40 and the "Quality Seal for Sustainable Buildings (QNG) Plus" regarding greenhouse gas emissions. Heating with oil, gas, or biomass is not permitted. The tender includes essential documents such as site plans, floor plans, and fire protection concepts. This project is part of the "Joint Task for the Improvement of Regional Economic Structures" (GRW funding), which must be considered throughout the project.
