IT Support and Development Services for VTT

VTT is seeking a supplier to provide maintenance, support, and minor development services for its data warehouse. The requirements and background information for this procurement are detailed in Attachment 1 of the Request for Proposal (RFP). Suppliers must consider the information presented in the attachment when preparing their bids. This is a total service model, and VTT will select one (1) contract supplier as described in the RFP. The initial contract period is two (2) years, with the possibility of extending the contract for two additional one-year options, making the total maximum contract duration four years. VTT has assessed its current maintenance and development needs to be approximately 1-2 full-time equivalents (FTE) during the contract period. The goal of this procurement is to find a professional partner with sufficient experience in similar service production to deliver VTT's maintenance, support, and development services. The objective of application maintenance is to ensure the usability of the system by minimizing production issues and errors while proactively and systematically developing the system according to VTT's established practices. A key task of maintenance is to ensure the successful completion of overnight processing jobs, providing up-to-date reporting information. VTT has had good reliability with overnight jobs, and monitoring of these jobs is automated, resulting in separate email notifications and Teams alerts for failed and successful jobs. Monitoring does not require separate server logins or manual work. The selected service provider will be responsible for the tasks mentioned in Attachment 1. Additionally, the procurement includes the following related optional services: Development of reporting as an additional service (optional).
