Green Space Maintenance Contract in Walloon Brabant

This contract involves the maintenance of green spaces around various facilities in Walloon Brabant, specifically focusing on sanitation works (such as wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, stormwater overflows, and retention basins), drinking water production, and waste management (recycling parks). The contract is set for a duration of 4 years, starting from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2029, with the possibility of renewal for up to three additional one-year terms. Key tasks include maintaining lawns, meadows, and the perimeters of each facility, as well as the interior and exterior access areas, and caring for existing plantings. Important notes include: • The in BW organization reserves the right to perform certain internal tasks (such as maintaining flowering meadows, planting, and covering). • in BW is committed to a differentiated management approach for green spaces around facilities, which includes alternative weeding methods, respectful pruning of trees, mulching, planting local and diverse hedges, and promoting biodiversity through flowering meadows and grasses. • The number of services may be adjusted based on climatic conditions (like drought), site operational conditions, and environmental reasons, without additional costs or compensation. • Requests for adjustments must be validated by designated managers for each lot. • Travel expenses must be included in the service costs. The contract is divided into the following lots: 1) Lot 1: Maintenance of green spaces around sanitation facilities in the WEST ZONE of Walloon Brabant. 2) Lot 2: Maintenance of green spaces around sanitation facilities in the CENTRAL ZONE of Walloon Brabant. 3) Lot 3: Maintenance of green spaces around sanitation facilities in the EAST ZONE of Walloon Brabant. 4) Lot 4: Maintenance of green spaces around pumping stations, stormwater overflows, and retention basins in Walloon Brabant. 5) Lot 5: Maintenance of green spaces around pumping stations and drinking water reservoirs in central Walloon Brabant. 6) Lot 6: Maintenance of green spaces around recycling parks.
