    Brief

    The Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. (DLR) and the European Space Agency (ESA) are developing a lunar analogue facility called LUNA, aimed at supporting human and robotic exploration of the moon. This facility will be used for astronaut training, engineering, and scientific research. A key component of this facility is the Motion Capturing System (MoCap), which will track the movements of astronauts and robots within a 700m² lunar surface simulation area filled with regolith. The MoCap system will provide high-resolution motion data to assist researchers and engineers in simulating lunar extravehicular activities (EVAs).
