    The project "Quantum Tensor Networks for Quantum Simulations and Artificial Intelligence" (QuTeNet) is part of the DLR Quantum Computing Initiative, led by the DLR Institute for AI Security in collaboration with the Institutes for Quantum Technologies and Software Technology. The QuTeNet project focuses on a specific architecture of quantum algorithms based on tensor networks, which efficiently represent quantum states and are also used as AI structures. This involves representing complex quantum states of multi-particle systems as networks of smaller tensors that can be calculated and optimized locally. The shared underlying structure allows for a seamless transition between quantum simulation and quantum AI, and even the transfer of the problem to classical hardware as a reference. This enables the identification of differences and similarities between classical and quantum approaches and delineates their application possibilities. This procurement seeks an industry partner (contractor) to assist in implementing tensor network-based methods for applications in quantum computing, specifically for the realization of quantum AI and quantum simulations, as well as for simulating quantum computers on classical hardware.
