Wastewater Sludge Agricultural Utilization Services

The contracting authority aims to receive, transport, and utilize the wastewater sludge generated at the Kéthely and Marcali wastewater treatment plants for agricultural purposes. Disposal of the sludge will not be accepted as fulfillment of the contract. If a bidder proposes disposal, their offer will be invalid. The contracting authority will accept valid proposals based on the 2003 LXXXIX Act on Environmental Charges, with a sludge placement multiplier of 0.8, and the following utilization methods: Agricultural utilization (use on arable land, wooded areas, e.g., in poplar plantations). The contracting authority will not accept incineration as a valid proposal, which has a sludge placement multiplier of 1. Bidders must manage the collection of sludge at designated sites, loading onto transport vehicles, weighing, transporting the sludge to the utilization site, and carrying out the utilization. It may also be necessary to transport sludge from all sites simultaneously, and the winning bidder must be able to meet this maximum demand with their equipment and resources.
