Legal Services Procurement

HAUS kehittämiskeskus Oy is seeking legal expert services through an open procurement process. The goal is to find a knowledgeable, flexible, quick, and cost-effective partner(s) to support and facilitate the work of HAUS's procurement unit and the personnel preparing tenders. We are looking for one or two service providers, depending on their ability to offer services for both procurement law and corporate law needs. The aim is to ensure legal compliance and cost-effective execution of the procurement process through a flexible and lightweight collaboration model. Assignments will vary based on HAUS's current needs and may involve a single area of legal expertise (e.g., procurement law, contract law, data protection law, labor law, or other legal advice and support) or broader assignments requiring support across multiple areas of expertise. Assignments may relate to legal investigations or consultations. High-quality handling of procurement-related assignments requires a good understanding of procurement legislation, particularly the current law on public procurement and concession contracts (1397/2016), procurement documents, procurement platforms, case law, and contract law and practices. HAUS currently has international projects underway in the European Union (EU), the EU neighborhood, Africa, and Asia. Project-specific assignments require extensive international knowledge and familiarity with local legislation for complex assignments. The contract period is 2+1+1 years.
