    Brief

This contract aims to provide educational services for the Defence sector, specifically through the Defence Energy Managers’ Course II (DEMC II). The course is designed for Member States involved in the DEMC II Project Arrangement and will be implemented at specific military sites. The primary goal is to enhance knowledge and improve energy management within the defence sector, leading to reduced energy consumption, lower costs, and decreased CO2 emissions. Additionally, it aims to mitigate the risks associated with fluctuating energy prices, enhance supply security, and improve operational capabilities within the armed forces. Over a four-year period, an average of two training sessions will be conducted each year. Each training session, referred to as a 'Training,' will focus on equipping participants with the skills to manage energy effectively within their organizations. The course will cover essential topics such as energy management systems, planning, design, procurement, and monitoring. Participants will also receive case-specific mentoring for their initial projects, ensuring they can apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios. By the end of the course, attendees will be prepared to continue their professional development in energy management with ongoing support and access to online resources.
