Food Supply for Incarcerated Individuals

The Centralized Logistics and Procurement Unit of the Penitentiary Police will establish framework agreements for each lot for a period of 24 months with a single economic operator. Subsequent contracts will be awarded by the beneficiary penitentiary units. These contracts can be concluded simultaneously with the economic operators who have signed the framework agreements for the 'food for feeding' products (lots) won, depending on needs. The contracting authority will respond clearly and completely to all requests for clarification/additional information from interested economic operators by the 11th day before the deadline set in the participation announcement for submitting offers. According to Article 161 of Law no. 98/2016, economic operators must have at least 10 days to prepare their offers in accordance with the additional requirements introduced through responses to clarifications/additional information. The deadline for requesting clarifications before the offer submission deadline is 20 days.
