    Sheffield City Council is hosting a Market Engagement Event to discuss the re-opening of the Mental Health Independence and Support Framework. This framework includes two types of support services: 1. **Standard Support**: This includes supported accommodation and outreach services for adults (18+) with severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders. These individuals are known to health and social care teams and have eligible needs under the Care Act 2014 and/or Section 117 aftercare. 2. **Enhanced Support**: This service is for adults (18+) with severe mental illnesses and complex needs, including challenging behaviors, forensic histories, neurodevelopmental conditions, and those at risk of harm or hospitalization. Some individuals may require assistance with personal care or medication management. Providers interested in these services are encouraged to attend the virtual Market Engagement Event on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM via Microsoft Teams. To participate, please email adam.elwis@sheffield.gov.uk or use the messaging feature on the YORtender/EU Supply e-tendering platform to confirm your attendance. A link to the event will be provided to those who express interest.
