Iron Duke Restoration - Phase 2

The Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust is seeking contractors with experience in working on listed buildings and with charitable organizations to submit tenders for the main works of Phase 2 at The Iron Duke, located on Jellicoe Road in Great Yarmouth. This project has a construction budget of £2,100,000, following the approval of funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Historic England. The anticipated start date for construction is late October 2025. Interested contractors must demonstrate their ability to collaborate effectively with the client and design team, and be willing to use an open book accounting approach. All expressions of interest should be submitted via email by Friday, August 15, 2025, to Ben Moore at ben@gcba.co.uk. A prequalification questionnaire will be sent out, with responses due within ten working days (by Friday, August 29). A Pre-Construction Information pack will be provided in early September.
